A concealed camera can run on batteries for ease in set-up, allowing it to be positioned in any location, with batteries lasting up to 8 hours or so. It is also an option to reply on an AC adapter for power, although, this would make it more difficult to make it a truly hidden camera.
Miniature cameras come concealed in a vast array of household object, such as a smoke detector, alarm clock, air freshener, sunglasses, a boom box, to a tower fan or even a book.
A mini-camera concealed in a wall clock for example, will offer the precise look and feel of clock, with working mechanisms, yet it will house a compact 3.7mm angle lens, with wireless operation offering 6 to 8 hours of recording time.
Discrete, small surveillance cameras are able to present a vast array of applications due to its ability to be hidden in sight and operates just as well in a home or business environment.
